Fighting for justice for Ken Paxton

Watch The Trial Live

The impeachment of Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton must be halted due to two incredibly important legal issues:

Due Process and Presumption of Innocence.

Due Process

It’s widely recognized that those who sought to remove him from office, and ignore the will of over 4 million Texas voters, never afforded him the most basic of these legal rights. Both U.S. Const. Amend. IV, XIV, Sec. 1 and Tex. Const. art. I, sec. 19 provide that a person shall not be deprived of life, liberty, or property without due process of law. Fundamental to the concept of due process is the right to be heard. The right to be heard assures a full hearing before a court having jurisdiction of the matter, the right to introduce evidence at a meaningful time and in a meaningful manner, and to have judicial findings based upon that evidence.

Presumption of Innocence

The Supreme Court has called the right to a fair jury trial and the presumption of innocence to be the two principles fundamental in American jurisprudence.  Three members of the jury, sitting by statute only and not subject to preemptive strikes, have clearly shown over time that they harbor extreme bias and bias that goes to the heart of Paxton’s presumption of innocence being violated. The presumption of innocence also plays a crucial role in balancing the superior

power and means of the State against those of ordinary citizens and serves as a safeguard of the right of the accused to not be wrongfully convicted.

If Due Process and Presumption of Innocence are thrown in the trash to score a political vendetta, then this state and country are no better than Third World Dictatorships

Resolution Condemning the Impeachment of Attorney General Ken Paxton

"THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Republican Party of Texas CONDEMNS the politically motivated impeachment of Attorney General Paxton by the Texas House of Representatives and hereby IMPLORES Texas Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick and members of the Texas Senate to uphold Constitutionally guaranteed due process, fairness, precedent, and the rule of law by rendering judgment as a matter of law in the Texas Senate on the grounds that the House of Representatives failed to satisfy due process, to comply with applicable Texas law, and to adhere to precedent; that the articles of impeachment be dismissed with prejudice; and that Ken Paxton be allowed to promptly resume his duties as the duly elected Attorney General."

We Invite You To Join Us In Prayer

Heavenly Father,

We humbly come before You, with repentant hearts for our offenses to You, both past and present, and ask that You cleanse us in the Blood of Jesus and restore us to a right relationship with You Lord!

Lord, we pray for our Texas Attorney General, Ken Paxton. You created him and You called him. We the people have unanimously elected him to office according to your word…Exodus 18:21

Ps. 31: 3-4 For You are my rock and my fortress. Therefore, for my sake, lead me and guide me. Pull me out of the net which they have secretly laid for me, For You are my strength…

Lord, we pray that You go before AG Paxton on Sept. 5th, in these impeachment proceedings, and prepare the hearts of those sitting in authority to act according to your word and our constitution. May your mercy and grace prevail over political

opinions and Your truth rise above the lies and deception of the enemy, that are attempting to disqualify the will of the people who elected AG Paxton, our constitutional voting rights and the life, character and integrity of Your chosen vessel, AG Paxton, all for their profit and gain, not for the betterment of the people of Texas or for the Kingdom. We pray that Truth and Justice shall prevail over the plan of the enemy. Lord, we pray for Your strength and Your Holy Spirit power to empower the defense team, that they may stand strong in the face of evil, and overcome the attacks of the wicked one!

We also pray that You would restore AG Paxton to his duly elected position as Attorney General of the State of Texas!

Lord, we thank you that You rule over all heaven and earth and that You have given us Your biblical principles and our Constitution to live by and to hold our elected officials to abide by.

We pray this all in the Mighty Name of Jesus! Amen
