Day 6 Recap: Ken Paxton Impeachment Trial
How Would You Like Your Bombshell? Out In The Open, Or Covered In Bushes?
I’m sure those who wanted the impeachment of the Texas Attorney General probably thought that running with unfounded rumors would have removed the man who was truly a pain in their side. Afterall, AG Paxton had gone after Social Media for banning Conservatives, the Biden administration for the open border, Big Pharma, those looking to profit off gender mutilation surgeries on minors, etc.
But a funny thing happened on the way to Austin. The defense team plugged in the spotlight and focused on the people behind the curtain. Most notably, the former Republican Candidate for Attorney General and former Texas Land Commissioner, George P. Bush.
Earlier in the trial, the defense team surgically attacked the office of little Bush, and highlighted that George P. reactivated his law license on the same day the whistleblowers sent their letter accusing the AG of alleged bad behavior. The whistleblowers were represented by a lawyer named Johnny Sutton with Ashcroft Law Firm. The firm’s namesake is the former U.S Attorney General from the administration of George W. Bush. The $178,000 he received to represent the anti-Paxton whistleblowers was paid for by…drumroll please.. the Texas General Land Office run by little George P. Bush. A taxpayer-funded coup right here in Texas! Keep in mind that little George P. got his rear end handed to him by Ken Paxton in the May 2022 Attorney General runoff 68% to 32%.
As a brilliant Texas lawyer once said,“You shouldn’t have any trouble connecting these dots!”
Now is the time to call these Texas State Senators and tell them the coup has been exposed. We need to get Attorney General Paxton back to work!
